Marine Consultants offers total service, i.e. pick-up, inspection/repairs/re-certification,
and return of equipment to and from our Service Centre. Where necessary,
we offer back up units to accommodate your crew whilst inspection
and service are being conducted on your own equipment. We offer completion
of a Liferaft's standard re-certification process over a forty-eight
(48) hours period, depending on your location. Multiple units will
of course incur further time. Although our office hours are within
normal hours of 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, we offer twenty four (24) hour
service on demand.
All repairs are carried out in a controlled environment by certified,
factory-trained technicians who undergo regular training and re-certification
according to manufacturers regulations and in-house policy. Our Service
Station undergoes annual inspection by Classification Societies such
as Lloyds Register of Shipping, The United States Coast Guard and
Det Norske Veritas (DNV). We are recognised and
approved by our local maritime authority, Maritime Service Division,
Ministry of Works.
Our Service Centre is open for your viewing, and customers are
invited to observe the inspection and servicing of their equipment.
Upon request, we conduct demonstrations on the deployment and use
of the equipment serviced by us.
Our electronic data management system provides support to owners
of equipment we service, providing anticipated life span of the
unit, forecasted depreciation values and advance notice for inspection
and re-certification, budgeting and scheduling.
